We have seen some shops with undersized presses attempt to remove spools by heating the gear and this can have serious effects on the temper in the steel. We have a press large enough to do this cold and not damage your gear.
For this service you ship us your t-case spool, with its gear and bearings attached. We will then swap either a spool provided by you or one we sell and send it back to you. This price includes return shipping.
