This is an OEM timing tensioner for the DOHC 3000GT and Dodge Stealth 6G72 engines.
We are keeping these in stock to make this quick and easy for people to purchase, either as a 60/120K kit or alone.
These are fresh and the latest date stamp direct from Mitsubishi. Do not run an aftermarket hydraulic tensioner as they are highly prone to failure.
There have been some recent price increases on these, but we are trying to keep prices as low as possible.
The “washer mod” has us tig weld a flat washer around the tension pin, that way if the tensioner relaxes it still won’t jump time.
This does not automatically mean the part fits every 3000GT or Stealth. Send us your year, drivetrain, turbo/non-turbo status, and part number before ordering if fitment is in question.
