This is a small bushing that can have a big impact on your shift quality. It is installed in the shift tower where the side to side motion arm contacts the shift tower. If this is worn or even missing you will have sloppy side to side shifts. It is standard procedure on each of our 3/S transmission rebuilds to replace this, but if you need one we have purchased an extra supply an offer these at a very reasonable price.
